What is the 3 Day Diet?
The three day diet (3 day diet) dates back to 1985 where an ebook describing this diet was floating about in the internet.It was promoting better health through quick weight loss, cleansing, lower cholesterol and increased energy. Also called the Cleveland Clinic Diet is a diet to be followed as closely as possible for 3 days at a time with the fourth or fifth day to be taken to rest.
Dieters of the three day diet are promised a 10 pound decrease as long as the portion of food size of this plan are eaten as they are instructed.
What you can eat in the three day diet are lean meat such as red meat, poultry and fish, vegetables and black coffee, tea, grapefruit and cheddar cheese.
With this diet you can expect just a temporary weight loss. If you planning to go to a wedding it might be good to follow this diet as it’ll give you fast results. Otherthan the food, you must also drink 4 glasses of water or 4 cans of diet soda per day.
The combination of these foods are said to make you lose weight, stay fit, and keep you up and running. However this isn't based anything on pure science. Not being based on any particular book and methodology sounds like some scam.
In our opinion this diet is considered a mystical science based approach to diet eventually leading to weight loss as there are no authors or the authors are hiding behind the scenes taking great length to effort at making propositions and statements without being involved in it and knowing how it might work. In other words, there are people who just like to lie and continue doing so until they have gained something.
It might even bring about harm to the body as there aren't any clinical studies for evidence of it's claims. The Cleveland diet is an urban legend that isn't nutritionally sound and that causes weight loss as it's low in calories. Following the plan one can expect to consume about 1000 calories per day. Infact, this low consumption of calories slows the bodies metabolism and this in turn will increase your weight more quickly once you go back to consuming more calories.
