What is the Cabbage Soup Diet?
In this diet you are to consume sufficient amounts of cabbage with low caloric foods. Essentially what this does is that it puts your body in a fasting state containing very few calories that you will rapidly lose weight. Most of the weight that you lose will be from fluids. This diets promises that you lose more that 10 pounds.
The cabbage soup diet contains a lot of fat burning properties. Therefore, you are encouraged to drink as much of the soup as possible in addition to other foods but in restricted quantities. This diet also recommends one to drink 8 glasses of water. This diet is affordable and is helpful to breaking away fatty foods. However it isn’t nutritionally balanced. This diet does not cause weight loss however it is accepted as a diet plan because it is calorie-free. Once off the diet, any weight loss can be regained. One can expect a weight loss of 2 to 4 lbs from this diet.
In our opinion this is a sound plan, but it might get one discouraged from following it like a bible.
